Promotion of art criticism and creative practices locally and internationally
- To create and strengthen a multidisciplinary platform for art critics and artists of all forms—visual, performing, literary, and digital—both in Bangladesh and internationally; and to promote critical dialogue, analysis, and innovation in historic and contemporary art practices.
- To organize dialogues, art exhibitions, open discussions, art fairs, and creative events at local, district, sub-district, union, and village levels in Bangladesh and abroad.
- To promote art critique clubs, art book reading circles, and creative innovation hubs.
- To patronize and promote local artists on national and global platforms.
Capacity building and knowledge development
To design, conduct, and institutionalize capacity-building initiatives including training, workshops, fellowships, and academic programs for artists, scholars, and art critics aimed at enhancing professional knowledge and research-based art criticism.
Research, documentation, and publication
To initiate and implement national and international research, consultancy, and documentation projects on art and art criticism; and to publish reports, journals, periodicals, monographs, and books for academic and public dissemination.
Promotion, exhibition, and market development of artworks
To promote, collect, exhibit, and create sustainable markets for artworks of Bangladeshi and international artists through exhibitions, art fairs, and collaborations; and to establish art criticism as a value-driven sector within the creative economy.
Institutional collaboration, governance, and sustainability
- To establish partnerships and institutional linkages with government, private sector entities, academic institutions, NGOs, I-NGOs, UN and international agencies, and corporate bodies for addressing issues such as climate change, education, human trafficking, child protection, gender equality, social justice, human rights, and inclusive development through art and local culture.
- To facilitate exchange programs and professional partnerships between Bangladeshi and foreign artists and critics.
